Sophie R. Rosen, 99, of Syracuse, passed away on Thursday at James Square Nursing Home. She was born on May 24, 1914 in Utica, NY, and retired from the Syracuse Hotel after 26 years of employment. She was predeceased by her husband, Samuel Rosen. She was a member of the Syracuse Flower Club and she enjoyed gardening.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.

Calling hours will be on Tuesday from 10 to 11 a.m. at New Comer Funeral Home, 705 N. Main St., North Syracuse, with services to follow. Burial will take place at North Syracuse Cemetery.
