Daniel Gallin, 86, of 116 Robbins Lane, DeWitt, died Wednesday at the Jewish Home of Central New York. Born in Utica, he graduated from Columbia College of Pharmacy. He was a pharmacist for Syracuse Community Health Center. He was a member of Temple Beth El, Rho Pi Phi fraternal organization, Onondaga County Pharmaceutical Society and the Jewish Community Center in Syracuse. He was a Navy veteran of World War II.
Survivors: His wife, the former Grace Shapiro; three sons, David and Reuven, both of Israel, and Richard of New York City; a brother, Leon of Silver Spring, Md.; 17 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren. Services: 2 p.m. today at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St., Syracuse. Burial, Beth El Cemetery
