Yeta (Stover) Herr
Yetta Herr, 90, of Syracuse, died Friday, October 26, 2007, at Community Hospital. Yetta was a member of Temple Beth El and Congregation Beth Sholom-Chevra Shas and a bookkeeper for the Family Service Center until her retirement. She loved to cook and was an avid knitter who enjoyed giving her finished works to others. Mrs. Herr was very involved with her husband in his Masonic and pharmaceutical associations. She was predeceased by her husband, Jacob Herr, in 1970 and by a brother, David R. Stover. Survived by her children, William H. Herr and Ellen H. (Gene) Warner; a sister, Shirley Stover; sister-in-law, Helen Stover; grandchildren, David (Tara) Ellerstein and Jake Warner; and a great-granddaughter, Sadie Ellerstein. Graveside services and burial will be conducted on Monday, October 29, 2007, at 2 p.m. at Beth El Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the charity of your choice. birnbaum funeral service inc
