Morris B. Swartz, 103, passed peacefully in Delray Beach, Florida, on Friday, August 2. Formerly a resident of Syracuse, Mr. Swartz had resided in Florida for the last 20 years. Mr. Swartz was a respected attorney, who practiced in Syracuse until his retirement. He was a founding member and past president of Temple Beth El, past president of the Jewish Community Center and Jewish Federation. Morris was also a World War II veteran and a member of Philo-Mt. Sinai Masonic Lodge. He was predeceased by his loving wife, Jackie in 2011. He is survived by his son, Jeff, his wife, Amy and their two sons, Jared and Brandon of Cherry Hill, NJ; and daughter, Bambi of Boynton Beach, FL.

Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Wednesday, at Sisskind funeral chapel. Friends may visit with the family immediately prior to the service from 1 to 2 p.m. on Wednesday, at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.
