Dorothy Flaxman, formerly of Syracuse, passed away Sunday, October 21, 2012 at the age of 98 in Houston, Texas. Preceded in death by her husband, Morris and six siblings. Survivors include son, David (Linda) of Houston; sister, Marian Kaplan (Murray) of Deerfield Beach, Florida; grandchildren, Jeff (Liz), Jarrod, Damian (Judy), and Rebekah, and two great-grandchildren, Maya and Eliana, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Services held in Houston on Tuesday, October 23.
