Sylvia Rothstein, 80, a former resident of Syracuse, died Tuesday, November 25, 2008 in Springfield, VA where she had resided since 2001. She was a former member of Temple Beth El and the Temples Sisterhood. Mrs. Rothstein was predeceased by her husband, Sam Rothstein in 1987. Survived by her son, Brian (Lynn) Rothstein; daughter, Shana (Robert) Collidge; grandchildren, Sammi and Jamey Collidge, Sara (Jake) Trelawney, Nathan Rothstein; and brother, Howard Buff. Private services and burial will be at the convenience of the family. Contributions may be made to the Holocaust Museum, in Washington, DC.
