Services for Rebecca Shankman, 93, of the Jewish Home of Central New York, who died Wednesday at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital, will be at 1 p.m. Sunday at Ginsburg and Maloff Funeral Home, DeWitt. Burial will be in Temple Beth El Cemetery. Calling hours will be noon to 1 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home, 4901 Jamesville Road. A native of Russia, Mrs. Shankman lived in Syracuse 28 years. Her husband, Max, died in 1974. Mrs. Shankman was a member of Temple Beth El and its Sisterhood, the Pioneer Women, ORT and the auxiliary of Jewish Home of Central New York. Surviving are a son, Abraham of Syracuse; a brother, Rubin Pearlson of Israel; two grandsons, a great-granddaughter and several nieces and nephews.
