August 19, 2003 Marlene Carlson Kent, 71, of Thompson Rd., DeWitt, died at Rosewood Heights. She was formerly employed at the Busy Bee in Syracuse. Survived by: her sons, Robert and David; daughter Dawn Kent; her brothers, Steven Carlson and Maurice Carlson; and four grandchildren. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Thursday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Calling hour 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.
