Bernice Adler Gold, 90, died Wednesday at Crouse Hospital. Bernice was a life resident of Syracuse. She was a member of Temple Adath Yeshurun, Hadassah, and an active volunteer with the women\\'s auxiliary gift shop at Crouse Hospital for over 10 years. Bernice had worked with her late husband, Bernard, in their family business, The Empire Donut Shop until their retirement. Bernard died in 1983. Their daughter, Nancy Gold died in 2003. Survived by her daughters, Ellen Diamond and Susan Gold; her grandson, Alan Diamond; and her great-grandchildren, Bradley, Justin, and Isabella. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family Friday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee St. Contributions in Bernice\\'s memory may be made to The Auxiliary of Crouse Hospital.
