Shirley Dubnoff of DeWitt died Saturday at St. Josephs Hospital. A native of Watertown, Mrs. Dubnoff lived in Syracuse for more than 50 years. She was a member of Temple Beth El, its Sisterhood, Temple Adath Yeshurun, Hadassah and the auxiliaries of the Jewish Home of Central New York and Post 131, Jewish War Veterans Onondaga. She and her husband, Herman, who died in 1985, endowed several achievement awards for St. Josephs Hospital nursing school graduates. These included the Leadership Award and the Inspiration Award. Surviving are her son, Ira of Fayetteville; a daughter, Barbara Dubnoff-Bayanker of Fayetteville; a brother, Dr. Bernard Yablin of Fairport; and six grandchildren. Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Temple Beth El, Rabbi Robert Rhodes, Rabbi David Sheinkopf and Cantor Harold Lerner officiating. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.
