Ida (Rauff) Grossman
Ida Grossman, 95, of Syracuse, died Thursday, November 15, 2007, at St. Josephs Hospital. Ida was the bookkeeper for Gordon Tobacco Company, a member of Temple Beth El, Hadassah, and the Jewish Community Center Seniors group. Mrs. Grossman was predeceased by her first husband, Stanley Zalewski; son, Donald Zalewski in 1969; and her second husband, William Grossman in 1980. Survived by her children, Frank (Gloria) Zalewski, Stuart (Joan) Grossman and Fred Grossman; eight grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be conducted on Sunday, November 18, 2007, 1:30 p.m. at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St. Friends may call Sunday from 12:30 to 1:30 p.m. at the chapel. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Temple Adath Yeshurun Minyan Fund.
