November 15, 2003 Leonard Gordon, 82, formerly of Syracuse, died in Boynton Beach. Mr. Gordon was the President and founder of Gordons Bradford Hills Super Duper. He retired in 1983. Mr. Gordon was a 1945 graduate of SU, receiving a BS in Chemistry. He was then employed by The US Government at Oak Ridge, as a member of the Manhattan Project. Leonard was a member of Philo-Mt. Sinai Masonic Lodge, Temple Beth El, Temple Adath Yeshurun, Bnai Brith, Chemical Society of America, AZA and received a fellowship from SU Chemistry Department toward a masters degree. Survived by his wife of 59 years, Jeanne F.; son Dr. H. Paul; daughter Michele G. Mandel (Mark); grandson Andrew Mandel; granddaughters Hilary Gordon and Samantha Mandel. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Wednesday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, 1909 E. Fayette St. Calling hour from 1 to 2 p.m. at the Funeral Chapel. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.
