Joseph Sarlos, 85, of 106 McClennan Drive, Fayetteville died Wednesday at his home. Mr. Sarlos was a native of Vemend, Hungary, and lived in Syracuse for over 36 years. He was employed at Bristol Myers until retiring in 1975. Mr. Sarlos was a member of Temple Beth El, the Mens Club of the Temple, and the Hungarian Club of Syracuse. His first wife and daughter died at Auschwitz Concentration Camp during World War II. Surviving are his wife, Ann; a brother, George of BNai Brack, Israel; and several nieces and nephews. Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel, the Rabbi Robert Rhodes officiating. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery.
