Sara Lea Newell, 100, died July 29, 2014, at Menorah Park. Sara was a life resident of Syracuse. She was born on February 6, 1914 to Barney and Tillie Lipstein Kassel. Sara was a partner with her husband, Samuel, in their family business, M.H. Williams Co., a retail appliance store. She was a life member of Temple Beth El.
Sara was predeceased by her husband, Samuel of blessed memory in 1989. Her family includes her sons and daughters-in-law , Robert and Marlene, and Terry and Carol; her grandchildren, Ethan, Steve, Jennifer, and Debbie; and her great-grandchildren, Ashton, Trevor, Carter, and Amber. Graveside funeral services are private. Contributions in Saras memory may be made to a charity of ones choice to benefit children.
