June 22, 2007 Maxine Goldstein Benezra, 65, died Friday at Menorah Park, Syracuse. Born in Queens, NY, Maxine was a graduate of SUNY New Paltz and received her masters in education from SUNY Stony Brook. She was a teacher in NY before retiring. Her father, Sol X. Goldstein, died in April. Survived by her sons, Adam and Russell Benezra, and her brother and sister-in-law, David and Carol Goldstein of Manlius. Graveside services will be at 1 p.m. tomorrow in Beth El Cemetery. Contributions may be made to the Foundation of Menorah Park, 4101 E. Genesee Street, Syracuse, NY 13214.
