Shirley Saiger, 90, of Syracuse, died Saturday, December 21, 2013 at the Jewish Home of CNY. She was the daughter of the late Sam and Rose Nadel. Shirley was the head bookkeeper for the Educational Film Library at Syracuse University. She was a member of Temple Beth El. Her happiest and most fulfilling times were at home surrounded by her family and friends. She was predeceased by her first husband, Marvin Bernstein and second husband, Moses Saiger. She is survived by her son, David (Blylee) Bernstein; daughter, Eileen (Stanley) Israel, and granddaughter Rachel Schinderman. Graveside services and burial will be conducted in Beth El Cemetery on Monday, December 23, 2013 at noon. There will be no calling hours. Contributions may be made to the Foundation at the Jewish Home, 4101 E. Genesee St., Syracuse, NY 13214.
