October 15, 2010 Jeanne P. Cohen, 81, died Friday in Windham, NH. A native of Syracuse, Jeanne had recently moved to New Hampshire to be closer to family. Jeanne was a graduate of Nottingham H.S. and Syracuse University. She retired in 1992 from the NY State insurance fund, where she was responsible for workmens compensation. Jeanne had previously worked for Onondaga county and NYS in various capacities, including social work. She especially enjoyed spending time at the Syracuse JCC. Survived by her son and daughter-in-law, Brian and Deborah; her daughter, Adrienne; and her grandchildren Jillian, Michael and Jeffrey. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Monday at Sisskind Funeral Chapel. Friends may visit with the family immediately prior to the service, from 10 to 11 a.m., at the funeral chapel, 3175 E. Genesee Street. Burial will be in Beth El Cemetery, next to her parents, Kate and Max Jacobs.
