Mrs. Bessie Lipton, 71, of 137 Alpine Dr., DeWitt, died July 30. Mrs. Lipton was office manager for Home Guard Home Improvement Co. and had lived in the Syracuse area for 42 years. She was a member of Temple Beth El, its Game Committee and Temple Sisterhood. She was a member of Bnai Brith. Surviving are a son, Harvey Mark Lipton of Akron, Ohio; a daughter, Mrs. Lynne Fisher of Shaker Heights, Ohio; two sisters, Mrs. Berta Weiner of Teaneck, N J. and Mrs. Jean Stitzel ; and four grandchildren.
Services were Friday at Birnbaum Funeral Chapel. Burial was in Beth El Cemetery.
