March 24, 2005 Estelle Nemoy, 65, formerly of Syracuse, passed away Thursday after a brief illness. She was predeceased by her father, Abraham Nemoy. Estelle is survived by her mother, Frieda Nemoy, Binghamton; sister and brother-in-law, Charney and Robert Oppenheim, Binghamton; nieces and nephews, Michael and Kristina Oppenheim and their children, Thomas and Morgaina, New Hampshire, Elaine and Shai Mandel and their children, Chaim, Tikvah, Avigayle, Areyh and Tziviah, Jerusalem, Israel, and Heather and Jonathan Douek, New York City. Funeral services will be held at noon on Monday, March 28, at Beth David Synagogue, 39 Riverside Drive, Binghamton, with Rabbi Chaim Harkavy officiating. Interment will follow services in Upper Beth El Cemetery, Syracuse. Family will observe shiva at the Oppenheim home through Sunday morning, April 3. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions in Estelles name may be made to the American Cancer Society, Southern NY Region, 31 Adams Avenue, Endicott, New York 13760.
